Moziguard WDG
Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti)
What is Moziguard?
Moziguard is a highly effective biological larvicide containing Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti), a naturally occurring bacterium recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for mosquito control.
How Moziguard Works
Mosquito larvae ingest Moziguard while filter-feeding in water. The toxins released in their alkaline gut disrupt their digestive system, leading to rapid and effective death within hours to a few days. It is highly effective on 1st to 3rd instar larvae within 48 hours of ingestion.
Why Choose Moziguard?
- Potent & Proven: Rapidly eliminates mosquito larvae.
- Highly Selective: Targets only mosquito larvae.
- Safe for the Environment: No harm to non-target organisms, animals, or humans.
- Versatile Application: Can be used as an aqueous spray or direct application; sprays easily through various types of equipment.
Target Those Pesky Pests
Protect your community from mosquito-borne diseases. Moziguard effectively controls the larvae of:
- Anopheles (Malaria vector)
- Culex (West Nile Virus, Encephalitis vector)
- Aedes (Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya vector)
- Mansonia
- Psorophora
- Simulium (Black flies)
